On the 3rd of May 2022, Darren Beaven was appointed the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Briarwood Products.

Darren has served in numerous senior leadership roles during his more than 35-year career within the logistics and distribution industry, and joins Briarwood with a vast amount of experience in working with companies at strategic and operational levels.

Darren joined Briarwood Products shortly after our Tubex SA acquisition bringing with him more than three decades of leadership experience within the logistics experience. He has held numerous executive and senior leadership roles, most recently at Gregory Distributions Operations and Business Culture Director; with further experience working at Royal Mail, DHL and ASDA.

“Over the past few months, we have conducted an extensive search for a new COO candidate with the expertise and ability to effectively capitalize on the market which we serve. After knowing Darren for a few years through his industry experience, I heard that he was actively searching for a new opportunity, it felt like a no-brainer to contact him.” said Oliver Janes, Managing Director of the Briarwood family of companies.
